We begin a collaboration with Simone Gubbiotti, well known italian jazz guitarist.

Publishing a jazz guitar workshop he has write for jazz guitarists, we begin a collaboration where we will publish most of this original tunes and arrangements!

"Born in Italy in 1974, Simone started developing his guitar skills auto-deductively, in the early 90'. He performed with various Italian bands, playing in a variety of contests, spanning from rock through pop to Italian folk music. During the Late 90' he discovered his love to jazz and improvised music.

In 2001 Simone discovered his natural talent for composition, studying in Boston with Jon Damian, teacher of Bill Frisell and Mike Stern. Jon Damian developed a bespoke set of exercises to enhance the sense of melody and ear training, and helped Simone with starting creating his own musical language.
In 2003, Simone went to Los Angeles to attend GIT (Guitar Institute of Technology), accepting the offer of the Sid Jacobs, who took Simone under his wings privately as a student. Simone had the opportunity to meet, learn and play with giants such as Joe Diorio, Joe LaBarbera, Darek Oles, John Pisano, Dave Carpenter and Gary Novak.
In 2004 he invited Sid Jacobs for their first Italian tour together, offspring of which was recording Simone's first CD ”Simykyo” with Jacobs and Marco Collazzoni.
In 2005 Simone recorded his second album "Tracce di Eoni” in the No-Sound studio in Pasadena , with a quintet consisting of Joe LaBarbera, Darek Oles, Marco Collazzoni and special guest star Sid Jacobs. Album was recorded in a single day, consisting of original compositions and arrangements of Simone. An Italian tour followed the recording, touring Italian cities - Milano, Genova, Roma - to name but a few.
In 2006 Simone played in Los Angeles with Sid Jacobs, Joe LaBarbera, Darek Oles and he collaborated with Nick Rosen and Arthur Blythe on new projects as well as with Lewis Nash, Corey Christiansen, Danny Gottlieb and Jay Anderson.
End of year 2007 he recorded his first solo album for Artist Share, New York, influenced by and exposed to artists such as Jim Hall, Bill Frisell, Chris Potter and Danilo Perez.
Simone frequents the US on a regular basis, rendering his beloved jazz solo guitar project and playing in a large variety of combo's. Last but not least, Simone is a private tutor and educator who developed his own method through the years, culminating in the publication his book “Guitar concepts”.

- 1998 - Berklee College of Music clinic (Umbria Jazz Festival, Perugia) - Jim Kelly and Mark White.
- 2000 - Clinic with Jim Hall (Ravenna) - harmony, improvisation and composition classes.
- 2002 - Jazz European clinics (Siena) - history of jazz, ear training and modal harmony - Pietro Tonolo and Stefano Zenni.
